Dinner
- mixed seeds and nuts
- 6oz turkey
- 1c cooked spinach

Plain and simple, but really hit the spot. I notice that I'm not craving
foods or feeling hungry as often. Good fuel keeps the engine happy and
running, I suppose :)

20100204 Meal: On the Go


My food on the go – I was running around all day and found this to be the only way to be paleo-compliant, mobile, and satiated.
-          3c mixed nuts
-          2lb (32oz) turkey jerky
-          Dried apricots, cherries, goji berries, and blueberries
The jerky I buy is pretty good – they don’t dry it out completely so it’s pretty tender and doesn’t get gross. What I really like is how the jerky, nuts, and fruits kinda mix flavours – turns out pretty tasty.

20100129 Dinner: Fish!

I love fish. Its easy to prepare, easy on the digestive tract, and chock full of nutrients. The only thing I don't like is having to remove bones as I eat ... it's like having to work for your food a 2nd time.

Dinner:
- 10-12oz perch (I forgot what variant, but it was pretty good) with flax seeds, oregano, and black pepper
- 2c cooked bok choy with green onion, basil, and red onion
- 1/4c stewed tomatoes with herbs, garlic and green onion

This was a big meal - but considering how digestible tasty it was, I had no problem getting it down

chopped up the raw veg and mixed with a little olive oil, lime juice, crushed almonds, and herbs - it was a nice "salad"
  • kale - 2c, cooked with basil and garlic
  • chix breasts - poached with garlic and herbs
  • fish oil supplements

simple, yummy, and filling - had leftovers for snack later. i love garlic
